JAH CURE IS NO LONGER A MOBO AWARD NOMINEE

Jah Cure ,a Jamaican musician has been slammed by Mobo organisers.

The Jamaican -whose real name is Siccature Alcock, was up for Best reggae Act.

The Rastafarian was locked up in 1999 for gun crime and released from prison in 2007.

Organisers at mobo awards removed his name from the nomination list after being told about the severity of the crime he committed.

Mobo Award celebrates music of black origin and will take place in Glasgow on October 5
