I saw a sister on the elite red carpet wearing a shirt -dress and I loved her look. This sister has inspired me to write about shirt dresses as it seems to be trending amongst celebrities.
Shirt dresses have been around for a while; they are good in hot weather as they are light and comfortable to wear. It is also good for that day where you cannot figure out what to wear (lazy Saturday) and it makes dressing up effortless as you won’t worry your brain, thinking if your outfit works.
Shirt dresses come in different styles, there are short sleeves, long sleeves and sleeveless. You can choose to wear them with belts or leave the shirt-dress freestyle (loose version). You can also wear them very short, knee length and long length.
Shirt dresses are appropriate for all occasions, yes even for a night out, it works with a belt and killer heels.
