The New York fashion show kicked off yesterday 8 sept 2011 at the Lincoln centre New York. Yesterday was just day one with seven more days left to go but the atmosphere was exciting with designers such as Richard Chia, Tadashi, BCBG max azria show casing their 2012 spring/summer collections.
This year’s 2012 spring collection colours seemed to be chalk grey, light stone, blush pink, yellow, blue, orange and emerald pink.
Most of the designs were tribally inspired with an urban touch in the dresses that were show cased yesterday.
Over 200 designers will feature their spring collections during the week at the Mercedes Benz fashion show.
Unfortunately at the moment the events at the show are still by invitation only.
However the pictures I am about to show you will make you think you have landed yourself a front row seat at the fashion show in New York.
Donna karan of DKNY will present her 2012 collection live on facebook on DKNY’s facebook page. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and you will be able to see DKNY spring/summer 2012 collection on Sunday at 2pm live on face book. I can’t wait! Can you?
