Amy winehouse inquest says cause of her death is alcohol poisoning. The Grammy award winner was on a period of alcohol abstinence before her misadventure (drinking herself to death).
Amy winehouse had enough alcohol in her system to cause a breakdown in her respiratory system which eventually led to her death. She had more than 5 times the drink drive limit of alcohol in her system.
Amy’s parents Mitch and Janis went to the coroner’s court today to find out the cause of their daughter's death. The coroner revealed the cause of death to to be alcohol poisoning . Her parents said it is a ‘source of great pain’ their daughter lost her battle with alcohol and drugs.
