Desmond Tutu bags African Achievers Award

Desmond Tutu – the one time anti-apartheid Arch Bishop – won the African achievers award UK.

Bishop Tutu won the award for human rights, justice and peace according to the chairperson of the African achievers network – Simosola Smith.

The Arch Bishop, now 80, spent most of his life fighting against apartheid and for equality in South Africa.

This is a well deserved award.
